its totally great

yeh, it is.. college. :) wahe, can you believe that its only the 3rd week of school and ive already had 2 longtests, several quizzes, one moving exam and a few presentations? and yet, i seem to be enjoying every minute of it.. wahehe, i guess the one thing i particularly dont like is having to wait for my sister till like 8pm.. but hey, ok lang gud un kasi mag *bonding-bonding* lang ako.. haha, my classmates are really friendly (i have a feeling i said that before) but its sad that there are different groups in the class.. it'd be nice if i could hang out with anybody you know? but some people are closer than others. but at least they're all pretty approachable. :) even the guys that sleep in class and go smoking during their lunch breaks are pretty friendly.. one of em used to live in africa! wahehe, so we have somthing in common.

haha, i played badminton with some of my new friends. it was like the 2nd time i've played in a loong time. [allana! i can actually hit the shuttlecock thinggy!! unlike the first time.. i always missed..] waheheh, it was soo fun. only my body's hurting like crazy now, specially my right arm. wahehe, i never thought my arm would hurt cuz i mean, the racket and the shuttlecock thinggy you hit is soo light. that's why you have to stretchhh first.. wahehe, iv gotta to remember that the next time if i ever play again.

**yawn** its already 115am.. i have alota stuff to do tomorrow.. i need to get my eng book for one thing.. hmm, i have a bio project and i need to research this whatever thing for sociology.. we're gonna have a debate.. [aack! romina and vina, you know how i talk real fast sometimes but when it comes to debating my mind goes totally blank!! waa, good luck nalang sa akin..] yes, so i really have to study.. hmm, better get some sleep.. night! xD

so college begins...

so i've finally stopped procrastinating (yeh allana, it took 3 whole days of procrastination before i finally decided to start my blog entry.. haha). well, im waiting for heroes to fully download.. lol, ill do my sociology homework later (i seriously have to get out of this habit of 'doing things until the last minute'.. i mean, im in college now! wahe)

anyways, i had my 2nd filipino class yesterday.. having 6 consecutive classes in a day is actually doable (do-able?)! yeh, n im not that tired... lol, anyways, back to filipino. it's unbelievable how some people just can't seem to appreciate our filipino culture.. i mean, yeah, we've borrowed alot of stuff from alot of places but it's still our culture. we should take pride in knowing that we have the ability of creating something so diverse and (even though not so original) but unique in its on way.. you know? ok, yeh, whatever.. hmm... koreans are extremely friendly! yes, that's a fact. well, based on the koreans that i met in my filipino class anyways. wahehe xD i mean, they're alot but they're all real friendly!! yeh, there's shyne, si-on (pronounced 'shan'), yo-han, pit (as in 'brad pitt'.. wahehe, yeah, that was his joke..) and alota others.. haha, well, anyways, it was actually pretty cool. shyne gave me a packet of cream-o when she realized i didnt have lunch.. isnt that sweet? xD haha, ooh, omgosh, guess what? some of them know the koreans that live in my neighbourhood! as in really.. they even went swimming with them! oooohhh.. hahahaha, korean obssessed i am.. wahe xD

it's funny how first impressions can sometimes turn out sooo wrong. i mean, take my classmates for example. some of them really look like they don't have a care in the world especially when it comes to school.. but then when it's time to participate they'll be the ones participating! and their answers are pretty smart too.. yeah, well, i hung out with alot of my classmates earlier. it was all cool. :) lol, some came all the way from San Francisco!! (not the one in america ok? the one that's all the way up north of the philippines.. waheheh xD) they made me realize something.. i mean, most of the ateneans that came from addu high stick together even if they weren't that close during highschool. i mean, if you think about it, there're like 2 groups in a class; one is composed of the addu high people and the other of the other people from the other provinces.. they say that it's really hard to approach us cuz we all kind of know each other you know? and that we all have something in common, they would all be like 'out of place'. i guess its not really our fault.. i mean, we hang out cuz we have more in common coming from the same highschool and everything.. hmm, there could be something done about it though... anyways, my classmates are cool. xD haha, whoo to 1R!!

anways, on to the teachers. i actually enjoy listening to my bio teacher. she talks really fast but what she says makes a whole lot of sense. (wahe xD) plus, biology doesn't seem that hard anymore since i already took it up in 2nd year.. it's like a revision of the topics and stuff. pretty fun (i can't believe i just said that).. My math teacher however talks extremelllyyyy slow.. and the tone of her voice seriously makes you wanna sleep. i mean seriously!! haha, she teaches pretty slow as well but hey, im not one to argue.. when it comes to the hard stuff ill be grateful. xD hmm, sociology.. honestly, it wouldnt have been interesting if my teacher hadnt been gay. he relates his love life to the whole subject and he's pretty funny. What with all his gay antics and gestures, plus the way he talks just makes you involuntarily wanna listen! haha, im being honest.. hmm, who else? um.... hmm.. ok, moving on..

well, so far, college is actually pretty great. :) i mean, meeting new people and everything is always fun. plus, everyone i seem to meet is pretty friendly and open. well, except one of my english classmates she acted kinda mean at first but by the end of our group work she turned out to be pretty nice as well. :) haha, ooh, the joy of college..

i finished my first week of school! woohoo, it was actually pretty fun. :) having long breaks in between's real cool. wahehe



i still have to get used to my schedule though. at first it was pretty cool. i mean, im lucky that i dont finish around 6 or 7 or something but then the filipino coordinator said i should take filipino1+.. cuz if i decide to transfer classes in the middle of the semester they'll have a hard time getting me a grade cuz they wouldn't know what to base it on i guess. well, the whole taking the filipino1+ class thing is okay with me, its the schedule that has me worried. its on the MWF sched at 12:05 to 1:05 i think. thank god im free, but that's my lunch period. so if i take the class, i wont have any breaks at all. nada. zero. zilch. so basically, ill be having 6 subjects straight! from 7:40 to 3:40 every MWF... damn, that's so disheartening.. i don't know if i can keep up with that. then again, my grades are in stake.. gak, why do i have to be such a nerd?

did you know that there was a davao channel? yeah, really, its called davao tv. i never knew that before! haha, they started showing all the 'cool' places and everything and i was like 'hey! i know that place!... n that too!' wahehehe. they were interviewing people bout the new cafe in sm (coffee dream) and there were like addu people everywhere! haha, its weird recognizing people on tv...



have you ever tried eatin frozen mango? its reaaaal good. you cant really slice it cuz its like rock hard (ok, maybe a bit softer) so you have to peel off the skin and eat it like a popsicle. its more.... satisfying! yeah, cuz you can't exactly just gobble it down (you'll end up having a brain freeze) so you have to take your time eating it... thus you gain more.. what's the word? satisfaction? i cant remember.. (i hate it when that happens..) anyways, you get to enjoy its delicious mango-ey.. ness.. more. hahaha, well, you get my point. you should really try it sometime. :)

less than 24 hours..

ok, so i totally missed the orientation for the late enrollees... gosh, well, i wanna see if i can take that english exam at 1pm. so that's why im here, waiting for another 40 minutes at an internet cafe. ooh, n im finally gonna be able to watch 20th episode of heroes! woohoo. that's what i like about internet cafes. they're fast! well, this one is anyways. if it were back at home the episode would take forever to load. so yeah..


ooh, i had an adventure!

well, i dont know if its counted as an adventure.. but it was just real interesting. anyway, it started when i left the house.. haha, i drove to school! (woohoo, accomplishment for the day. so cool. xD) well, first my cousin had to drive to the bank all the way to bajada but then we found out it was closed (cuz it's a holiday) so i drove from landbank to addu. yeah, it was cool! haha, only i accidentally drove past a red light (well, in my defense i thought the lights were intended for the cars that were going straight.. not the cars that were turning right) and this police guy pulled us over! it was soooo scary. i thought he was goin to be all mean and everything but he was actually real cool! haha, he was about to take my sister's driving license away (cuz i still have a students permit.. i dont think they can take that to the LTO er something) because i ran past a red but then... [da da dum].. we asked him if he could just let us go with a warning cuz it was my first time. and he said yes! and check this, his reason was cuz we lived in the same area. wahahaha, what a reason. (who knew living in maa had benefits. hihihi xD) anyways, ya, so that's my adventure. first time ive ever been pulled over. wahehehe. plus he was real cool. xD ya, so that's it. haha


so anyways, im starting school tomorrow! woohoo. xD haha, plus, my sister's best friend is flying in tonight to stay with us for a couple of days (yeah, they've been talking about this trip for 3 years) its a shame tho that her holidays start right when our school begins. oh well, im sure they'll make do. xD lol.

5 days n counting..

ok, so this whole layout thing is temporary. its taking me forever to find a layout i really really like. haha (thanx by the way allana! xD). hmm, anyways..

so i finally looked at my schedule for college. n yay! i like it. :) haha, it starts everday at 7:40am. i dont really mind cuz im used to going to school that early anyway. and on MWF i end at 3:35 (woohoo!) lol, n on TTH i finish at 5:40. ooh, n the best part... i start school on friday at 10:00! lol, what fun. so only 5 hours of school on friday. hahaha :) college is looking great.

ooh, i had a mini-adventure a few days ago! are you ready? my sister.. found.. a.. mouse!! in the house (hehe, that rhymed) so we bought mouse traps (not the typical contraptions that literally trap the mouse but the ones that look like small planks of wood with lotsaa sticky glue on the surface..yeah, those kinda mouse traps. you have to put food in the middle er sumthng in order to lure the mouse. hehe). but the mouse is making it real boring cuz it doesnt want to get caught.. hmm, maybe its smarter than we thought. oh well, ill just give it a while. ok, so maybe it wasnt an adventure... but hey! it was interesting. xD lol

im going bored outa my mind at home. haha, i think tamala's going crazy as well. hmm, im plnning on buying a new simcard (well, i actualy have to.. haha) and the question is.....

yeh, so i thought it was time for change. lol, the black background started looking all dreary to me. anyways, don't ya just love the cute penguins? ------------> haha, i was looking for koala bears and cats but then i saw the penguins! haha, they're so cute. i like the green one with the guitar. tis adorable. anyhoo..

it hasnt hit me that im gonna be starting college next monday. i know i have late reactions but this is too much. im sure i wont be able to sleep on sunday night. haha, have you ever felt that sudden rush of adrenaline the night before the first day of school? especially when its a new school your going to. i lie in bed for what seems to be hours before i finally manage to get some sleep... haha, or maybe its just me. i guess i can say im kinda nervous.. and excited. heck yes, im excited. lol, its a brand new school, a fresh new start and its not as intimidating as the schools i've entered before cuz at least i have some of my highschool friends there with me! (haha, i lurve u guys! )

well, even though college means being in different courses, we still have to hang out okay? romina, yeo, vina, bebe, baba, nestor (tihihi) you hear me?? javi and allana, i miss you guys! dont worry, we'll hang out whenever you come to davao. xD and even though only 3 of you guys will prolly read this what the heck. haha. xD
