Asian Civilization

asian civ.. asian civ... asian civ... it is like a horrid chant that has been ingrained in my brain forever to torture me for as long as i live. asian civ.. asian civ.. asian civ.. gak!!


the lessons are actually ok it's just the memorization that is required in order to be able to pass the subject. Not to mention the oral GRADED recitation that takes place daily (in other words from monday to saturday **hopeless sigh**) soo nowww, we're taking up the Chinese civilization which is immensely captivating if it didn't involve the 9 something dynasties you had to memorize in order to be able to get a good grade in the oral recitation (grade conscious student alert) anyhoo... what makes me feel better is that one of the dynasties is called MING! after romina! bwahaha, isn't that cool? ok, so of course it wouldn't be named after her cause it happened way before she was born but it makes it more interesting. right right? right. anway, its 8:59 on my watch and I was supposed to be studying exactly 59 minutes ago.. sooo, ta ta! :)


oh, before i go, i would like to make clear to the people who visit my blog and tend to write on my tagboard to at least give information about yourself instead of leaving links to the sites you wish for me to visit. i mean, car finance, i'm only 17 and i don't even have a car! please refrain from putting advertisements on my blog, this is not a place where you can advertise things. Your message will most likely not get across cause only a few people read my blog (special few though ;) bwahaha). plus, here i am writing my inner most thoughts (ok fine, thoughts, not inner most thoughts) i would appreciate it (if you tend to write on my tagboard) if you would leave a link to a blog conveying your own thoughts. even a simple name would suffice. ok? ok. now that that's been said and done... happy earth's day

it's earth's day everyone! i didn't know there was such a day until all the sun people started sending gms saying happy earth's day! and everything.. so yeah.. its wonderful having a day like this actually :) keep ur plants safe, eat ur vegetables and save the earth from global warming!! yay. happy earth's day everyone.

i have my last exam in my prelims tomorrow thank GOD. 25 questions, 2 points each, one test type: true, false or uncertain. gak, the application of economics is going to drive me mad. so the exams in world history and asian civilization were cool. it wasn't as hard as the exams we had to do in philippine history with sir pancho (good luck to any of you who have sir pancho in the future). so yay! one more exam.. summer classes are actually quite interesting. (i CANNOT believe i just said that... but yeah, they are. haha)

come kitty kitty kitty

we always hear about the typical black cat. it's supposed to bring bad luck if it crosses your path and blah blah, but have you ever seen a white cat? a totally white cat down to the end of its tail to the tips of its ears. not grey-ish white or dirty white, but heavenly white it seems to almost glow with its color. i have. he was outside my house earlier. he was beautiful with the bluest eyes i've ever seen here in the philippines and adorable pink paws. he was healthy, his sleek fur shone in the sunlight and his stealthy but graceful movements showed that he was a skilled predator. i don't think he belongs to anyone. he distanced himself from me and was cautious, always wary about where i was. it was obvious he didn't trust me. or humans for that matter. you know how black cats represent bad luck? maybe white cats represent good luck. i'm not that superstitious though. it's nice knowing that a cat like that roams around the place. pretty pretty kitty.

anyhoo, on to more serious matters... did you know that they're breeding sharks in davao!!?!?!?!? near the place where there're ostriches :D near times beach.. it's so awesomely cool and kind of creepy too. i saw the baby sharks they were breeding and they looked pretty cool and kinda.. um.. vicious? haha, they had a black mark on the top of their dorsal fin. they've built a sort of quay or wall cutting off the current of the sea creating a very calm and peaceful sort of lake.... for sharks.. that's really scaryyy.. they said it might be fore entertainment or something.. eek, you know what im thinking? it'll be like a sentence for convicted criminals and stuff. they'll hold them over the water and go like:

"did you or did you not vandalize the toilets at victoria plaza?"
"i didn't, i swear i didn't you have to believe me!"
"LIAR!"

and **plop** in goes the guy to be eaten by all the blood-thirsty sharks waiting for him at the bottom. **shiver**shiver** maybe that'll be the entertainment :| how gruesome. but i don't think davaoenos are that mean you know. they're probably the type of sharks that only eat.. um.. animals that aren't humans.. like.. crabs! soo yeah.. no worries, we're all safe :D

so summer classes are coming up.. and im looking forward to them cause i've been sitting infront of the computer for the past few days doing nada and the whole not-doing-anything-the-whole-day is starting to drive me crazy. sooo.. woohoo summer classes! xD

you know what? since it's summer and everything and ill only be having summer classes from 740-1230 mondays to saturdays (SATURDAYS! :| can you believe it?.............. not complaining though " :)") im thinking of posting my fist vlog on youtube! yes, i was trying it out the other day while my sister was using the net and when she realized i was going to start a vlog on youtube she was quite supportive ("dont you dare migel, dont you DARE") and when i told her she was going to be my subject on my first vlog ever she was equally joyful and flattered ("infact, give me the camera. gi-- i don't care if you're bored give me the camera migel! before you start embarrassing me on the internet") so now i'm really looking forward to it. :) woohooo xD


anyhoo, youtube! youtube.. there's this guy i always have to listen to when i go on youtube. he did a cover on realize. he's a do-it-yourself- artist, he played all the instruments and everything and his voice is surprisingly good. :) john nathaniel. check him out. :) its really good.


ooh, and you guys have to watch "dramatic tarsier", "best first dance brubaker" and "ken lee" on youtube!! its hilarious. xD
