total blah-ness

have you ever had an instance where you were seriously expecting something not to happen even though you really wanted it to so you're there preparing yourself for the inevitable disappointment then to be told that it is going to happen so you change your mindset and become very excited only to be told that it really isn't going to happen and since it was all sudden, you didn't have time to prepare yourself and in the end your crushed by the disappointment you were actually preparing yourself for in the first place? (i hope that made sense, i tried to make it as sensible as possible) ughh. i hate it when that happens. i hate the way it feels and the way it makes your day feel all wrong and gloomy for some reason. (and for no use of a better word) it's definitely sucky.

so here i am, trying to cheer myself up by writing on my blog (golly, i do have peculiar ways of cheering myself up) hmm.. my dad gave kristine a camera as an advanced birthday present and we've been having masses of fun with it. it's waterproof (like vina's!) only my sister's too afraid to try it out in water. i guess i would be too if the camera was mine, but it's not so obviously i really want to try it out. we've been experimenting with the macro shot application (macro shots are so cool) and our favourite objects of interest so far have been tamala, nature, tamala, objects and incriminating pics of each other looking weird, blank or downright funny. nikki has the tendency to take millions of pics of me when i'm sleeping because, to be honest, i look extremely scary (i am not going to explain for the sake of our friendship) and i usually end up waking up at the wee hours of the morning (nikki's nocturnal) to her bellows of laughter.



oh, yes, i have something else to share. i finally have my first solo-video on youtube! kristine posted it (with my permission of course though i do have to say i was half-asleep when i said yes) and it is embarrassingggg... so maybe one day when my dignity is not intact and alcohol & drugs rule my life, maybe one day, i'll have the courage to show it to you, but as for now it shall remain as just another video on youtube of a crazy nameless girl doing crazy things at 2am in the morning.

ooh another thing that definitely cheered me up: it just started to rain. :) yes, i love rain, especially if it's only light rain because it's so relaxing to listen too..

hmm... so that's about it :) i think i cheered myself up pretty well actually (for the fact that i didn't resort to chocolates is pretty amazing)

school! im excited for school!

yes! school started! i don't know why i'm happy but i am.. hahaha, the different classes and teachers and stuff... there was one teacher that was talking about how by 3rd year there's usually less than 30 IS students! yeah, so that's kind of scary but when she was talking about the FSO exam and everything (i forgot what FSO stands for..) it was really excitingg :D:D:D i really want to learn spanish!! yes, i do. i do. spanish is funnn xD basta, her talk about IS was real inspiring. makamotivate :D hahaha

so today is another day; a day today where there will be a way to do something today today!! yehey :D ok, so i saw vina and romina and yeo today!! :D yehey. la lang, it's weird that i don't see vina and romina together because they're like always together but now they're not because they're not classmates and it's kind of weird.. so yeh :D

hmm.. my classes! i feel like talking about my teachers because they're different from last year and some of them are really kind of scary.. so yeah! on to my teacherssss


1. Philippine Constitution: Mr. Excubido - ok, one word for my 1st impression of him. SCARY!!!!! he actually looks like a friendly guy at first but when he starts talking you get real intimidated.. "For all you latecomers (i was a latecomer cause i enrolled late) if you come to me saying that you were not aware of the rules and policies that i had stated during the 1st day of class then that's bullsh** (yes, he really said it) as my student i expect you to be fully aware of my expectations, rules and policies. If you don't like me or my policies then good there's still time to drop my subject; I don't care" **GULP** so i paraphrased a few parts (i didn't actually memorize it) but yeah, that's basically it. hahaha, scary!! but they say he's a real good teacher so i'm looking forward to that class actually for some weird unexplainable reason.

2. Public Speaking: Ms. Echevarria - yes! i actually have public speaking! where you have to go upfront infront of everyone and start talking properly and clearly for a whole 3 minutes. just the name makes me start to feel all nervous and jumpy.. but the teacher! ok, so the teacher's very interesting. she's like a cross between.. ok, scratch that (i can't think of a decent combination) basta, she's fun and smart! and kind of corny. it's hilarious though because there are times when she cracks jokes and she'll be the only one laughing at them!! and then in the end we'll all start laughing because of how she's laughing. and then to demonstrate a certain point she'd start dancing and stuff..

omgosh, yes, i know i'm supposed to be talking about teachers now but my public speaking classroom seriously deserves attention.. it's at B502 and it's like a BODEGA!! (that's what they say anyway, it reminds me of a huge closet room with the smell and everything ) it's sad because the 1st to 4th floors of the B building all have aircon but on the alksdjf;kaljdf 5th floor they don't have aircon and the fans don't help much with the heat. and the window panes was painted on the outside to lessen the heat i guess but now the paint's all chipped giving the room a very haunted sorta look. plus! we dont have white boards nooo.. we have black boards with the chalk and everything that makes screeching sounds when being used on the board! oh yes, you'd actually think i'm exaggerating but i'm not. it has a platform too like all the other rooms only thing i bet the woods probably being eaten by termites or something because today while my teacher was standing on the platform her high heel actually went through and made a hole in it! hahahha, it reminded me of one those movies where the lady is walking on the road and gets her heel stuck in one of those drainage holes and has to be saved by a guy. only in our case there wasnt a hole to begin with, the wood simply broke away. SCARY UNSANITARY HAUNTED-LOOKING ROOM!! haahhaha, ok, back to the teachers! xD

3. Philippine Foreign Relations- Maam Emilio : she was the one who gave the very inspirational speech on international studies!! :D hahaha, she has thickish eye glasses.. i'm looking forward to her class too! :D

4. Theology - Sir Lunar!!! : yes, he deserved exclamation points. hahaha, yey! we have sir fayloga again! wala lang, he's fun and it's good he's an afternoon teacher cause i tend to sleep if it gets boring and he's not so i won't be sleeping! :D




ok, so the rest, i haven't met them or they're substitute teachers so yeah, i guess i'll just leave it at that.


oowie! i like my schedule!! except for the saturday schooling part but that's inevitable i guess. on mwf i start at 10 and end at 3:35 and on tth i start at 9:15 and end at 2:30! woohoo, no class earlier than 9! which is a good thing cause im ALWAYS late to class in the morning, it's sort of ingrained in my system or something (that's why i had a sucky pe grade last sem :S)

my last entry was making my blog boring because its so old so i decided to write again! anyway, i slept really long last night.. from like 11:30 to around 10:30.. that's like.. 11 hours?? anyway, it's been a really really tiring week.. lots of fun though!! haha. should i enumerate? i don't know if i feel like enumerating or not. hmmmm..

first off, the whole being a facilitator thing! at first it was all scary and i was nervous with the whole crocodiles in my tummy because you're standing in front of a class with 40 students all just looking at you waiting and you're supposed to keep them from sleeping for a whole day and a half!??! but yeah, in the end it was really fun actually. plus, you get lots of free foood! hahaha, and the dancing omygosh the dancing at the last day.. "if you forget the the dance steps ok lang but always remember the principle of hiding.. Hiding the fact that you've forgotten the dance steps!" waheheh, so that's what yeo and i did despite the fact we were very conspicuous (sp?) being at the very front row and everything but what the heck, we hid the fact by laughing our heads off. we had a party yesterday too since it ws the ending and everything in the auditorium. sir rikki was very strict about it being a COSTUME party even though some people came w/o a costume. yeo came with her santa claus outfit back in 3rd year! hahaha, i couldnt find mine so i just came as a terrorist. so yeah, it was really tiring and stuff but it was worth it. vina, romina! we have to show you the archie-look-alike guy we found! hahahha, he does look like him. really. its so amazing. haha

so because of the whole week and everything i haven't finished enrolling!! :S we were supposed to have an early enrollment or something to get it out of the way but nooo, the sse division didn't have it ready and all sooo here i am not enrolled. i have the papers and everything but i havent paid yet. gosh, the division chairperson got really angry at me! i went to him so he could sign the papers on thursday and wasnt able to get it signed till friday. yeah, so i don't want to elaborate because i don't want to remember the story anymore plus on friday he apologized but it was still really scary. :| he's actually a nice person, only yeh, when he (she?) gets angry its really really scary. so noww, i haven't enrolled yet! oh nooo, what am i going to doooo?? wait... is the cashier open on monday? even if its a holiday? i hope so.. oh wellies..


oh yees! another thing. my cousins, annie and emily, from chicago came to visit last week and we had a blast! we were telling them really scary stories and showing them around the city. we went to the david statue and champaca (sp?) street! haha, emily had to close her eyes and cover her ears cuz she was so scared. oh and one conversation stands out every time i remember them. it was when we were telling them scary stories.

Nikki: ......oh and you know what? one of my friends has the third eye.
Annie and Emily: WOAHHH!!!!!!!! are you serious!??!?!?!?!
Nikki: yes, he really does.
Annie: WOW, like where is it in the middle of his forehead in between the other 2? like cyclops??!


HAHAHAHA!!! gets me every time. :D anyway.. 2 more days till school! doesn't feel like i had summer holidays at all actually... oh well


eeeeeeeeeeeek, i hope i get to enroll on monday!!! :S
