he lied.. to steal

hmm.. so i decided to delete my last entry.. even though itfelt real good to let out my frustration and stuff, it didnt feel good having to read it every time i went on my blog.

yeah, last wednesday when i went to soccer practice there was this guy who deliberately lied to the lady who was watching over our bags (we keep them at the clubhouse cuz that's the safest place in agro) saying he was my cousin and that he had to get my phone so he could eload for me. he even had the nerve to ask her where he could eload my phone! well, she was real suspicious so after he left she went and asked me that there was this real strange guy who got something out of my bag. when i checked i realized he took all my money as well! we tried to get him but he was already long gone.. the lady noticed that he was hanging around the clubhouse when i had to get the keys for the house out of my bag so my sister could have em.. she said he was following my sister when she got out of the car so i guess when i got the keys he knew which bag was mine..

i could've understood i guess if someone snatched it (cuz it happens alot right?) but for somone to deliberately lie so he could steal something takes evil to a whole new level, you know? i mean, i already lost 2 phones in the span of 3 years so when i got the phone as a grauation present i promised myself it wouldn't happen again.. then less than 2 months later, look what happens! gosh, out of the 30+ soccer players there he just had to pick me... my friend said i was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.. damn.. im seriously unlucky..

well, at least ive come to terms with what happened that day. ive stopped wallowing in my shame and guilt (i don't know why i felt that way but i did).. hmm, i think optimism started kicking in round saturday evening. haha. :)

so guys, please dont think it won't happen to you. that's what i thought and look what it got me. thank god i wasnt hurt though. :)

anyway, so where was i? yeah, so internet communities.. or is there a better name for 'em? cuz that's too long.. anyways, im sidetracking here..

have you ever realized how in asia (particularly in the southeast ) that people are soo into friendster? i mean, ask anyone here, im sure they'll have an account. and anyone in america is bound to have a myspace while in africa they're more partial to hi5...

isn't it kinda weird that despite the fact of being in different parts of the world, growing up in different cultures and stuff, people seem to have the similar interest of wanting to connect to other people even if it's just through the internet? maybe its an innate thing or something.. i guess we're all more common then we think..

summer bliss

Indecisiveness: is when you're dribbling the ball down the field and you can't decide whether to try and score or pass to your teammate running down centerfield. You decide at the last possible second to pass to your teammate but with the force needed to score. In the end, not only does your teammate not manage to get the ball but you also mess up an opportunity to score because your pass was inaccurate...

yeh, so soccer practice a few days ago didn't go so well. the scary part though is that we have a tournment in bukidnon next saturday and there hasn't been a practice yet where the whole team's been present. 3 more practices to go.. da da dum.. this is where the anticipation starts to creep in.. hmm, talking bout tournaments we had a mini-tournament yesterday at the seagull beach resort. gak, it's hard to play soccer on sand!! i mean you need more power to kick a decent pass and certainly more stamina to catch up with the opponents. and dayum.. it hurts more to fall on sand then it is to fall on a normal field! i mean ya, there is the misconception of the sand being soft and all but once you're in the shower your body starts to sting with all the invisible scratches.. but all in all it was fun! even though we lost (yeh, that part was mainly my fault.. but let's not talk about that) we managed to drown it all out in the sea! xD haha, fun fun fun..

hmm, i havent blogged in ages! i'm basically gonna start raving here cause blogspot's giving me trouble so i'm gonna write as much as i can before it starts hating me again and signs me out.. as in seriously, i've been trying to log in for the past 2 weeks. so anyways, i warn you this might get long.. anyways, here goes! :)

1. for the past month i've been sleeping around 1 and waking up around 11:30 (few days i even wake up at 1!) in the morning. i guess i've been trying to catch up on the sleep i missed but then round midweek last week it just sorta hit me. i guess im starting to regret not doing anything productive in the mornings. i mean, i wanna do something productive before school starts while i still have the chance. maybe i should go swimming... or play basketball... or just wake up early and eat breakfast infront of the tv. yeh, that sounds about right. :)

2. yes, i finally have a summer obsession: prison break!! we bought seasons 1 and 2. isn't it so much better watching the episodes without any commercials in between? its soo much better than having to wait for a whole week to see what's gonna happen next. i've been watching it nonstop for the past week! gak, its so addictive. whoever came up with the outline is pure genius. i mean if it was me, he'd go in the prison break his brother out, run into some cops, kill them, get into a plane, disappear and be done in the span of 2 hours but the writers managed to extend it to 3 whole seasons! haha, the twists and turns in the story are brilliant. can't wait for season 3!

3. ooh, next next tuesday im gonna have driving lessons! aack, so cool! I'm not that traumatized anymore so i guess i wouldnt be shaking too hard when im behind the wheel :) hehehe

4. hmm, ive learnt alota stuff during summer this year!! here's a recap:

i) you clean a footscrub with a toothbrush, NOT a toothpick [i was cleaning it with a toothpick till my sister told me to use a toothbrush. im telling ya its much faster with a toothbrush]

ii) alcohol shrinks the brain [thanks to msn.com for that one]

iii) do NOT put microwavable popcorn inside the refridgerator [ im being serious here people! i think the kernels harden or something cause when i did it they exploded from the bag and i got butter all over the inside of my microwave! it was kinda scary...]

iv) never get into a bark argument with your dog. if your dog's like mine she'll always have the last word.

v) there are alota moral lessons you can learn from disney movies [yeah, they're real good]

vi) cold, damp teabags (not herbal) are good for removing dark circles under your eyes [ or so they say.. :)]

5. so this whole college situation. gah, its so confusing. im gonna school in addu for one year then go to admu next year. waa, i hate the whole adjustment phase. it gets so uncomfortable sometimes... anyways, one of my soccer 'titas' told me that i should go to la salle (that's how you spell it right?) not only does their soccer team rock (ya, that's where they choose people for the philippine team i think) but the educational standards are much higher than that of admu.. 15 points higher? something like that. its more expensive though but maybe i can go on scholarship or something.. gar, tis frustrating.. anyways, we'll see how it goes.

6. yeah, my younger sister might school here! whoohoo, just the 3 of us... hahaha, it'll be nice to come home and be able to talk to someone other than the dog...

7. talking bout tamala, she's getting really rebellious! (sp?) and big too. it's getting harder to carry her. haha, did i tell ya she talks back? well, barks back really but she does have a temper. i've learned not to stick my finger at her when i tell her 'no' cause she'll just bite it. seriously. you know what she does when i reprimand her? she looks at me at a side glance, growls than walks away. hahaha, she makes me laugh. :)

8. ooh ya! there's another thing i've learned. when you're contacts expire do NOT wear them!!! i wore mine during my cousins wedding. the day after my whole face was swollen! i didnt realize till my sister told me. my eyes hurt too.. especially my eyes, they were really swollen. i literally looked like i was beaten up! haha, it went down by night time though. thank god..

well, that's bout all! whew, that felt good! lol, talk about letting it all out. xD aah, allana, romina, vina, razelle, javi (hehe, even though you don't read my blog) where are you guys?!? i miss ya loads.. :) oh and allana, vina, hitori and romina thanx for updating your blogs! i mean seriously, lol, it gives me something to do here.
