suddenly i see

life is hectic. good thing though i've finally got a hold of the "a walk to remember" book by nicholas sparks! im on a major reading marathon. eleven minutes, the notebook and now a walk to remember.. grawr, seems like the only time i get to read though is at night before i sleep.

anway, i'm missing some people terribly. :( but i guess i can't do anything about that.

oh! committed social suicide at a debut the other day. im praying though that all the pol sci students who were there will go on with life and pretend that they hadn't witnessed ANYTHING for the sake of my social life. HAHAHA xD

ooh ooh! guess what? :D the other day a cat gave birth in one of the garage cupboards! :D but tamala, being all irritatingly friendly and oblivious to the fact that other animals may actually despise her, nearly drove the mother cat crazy because she wouldn't leave them alone! even when the mother started hissing like a lunatic (seriously, it was scary to watch) tamala was still wagging her tail and trying to get a closer look at the kittens. so nowww, the mother moved her kittens to another place but left one kitten in the cupboard.. i think it's my fault though, cause when i went to check on the kittens the other night there was only one kitten left and the mother cat was gone so i closed the cupboard door thing and i guess the mother didn't fit through the opening at the bottom of the door like i thought she would because the next day the kitten was still in the cupboard. and then my househelper had to go and carry the kitten and show it to tamala (because she wanted to) eradicating all possibilities of the mother coming back for it (yeah, mother cats are extremely sensitive to the scent of their kittens; if it doesn't smell like their kittens then the mother literally disowns them. yeah so i don't think the mother cat would come back for it especially after it had been licked clean by tamala. no, she didn't eat it. tamala's just friendly. haha) so now i have a kitten whose eyes aren't even open yet to take care of and im leaving in 2 days! :S grawr. but on the brighter side i have a kitten! :D and i think its a male so im naming it Kozo. i have no idea what that means :D i read it somewhere but i forgot. hmm.. but if its a girl i'll have to change it...

hello to the world

random thoughts:

- i got a fever the day after i came back from camp sabros. it came along with this grinding headache but it went away after i practically drowned myself with cold water. it really works you know. :D

- finally able to get some rest today. i was in bed most of the morning with a bag of chips reading eleven minutes. **relaxation**

- ooh! listened to beyonce's "if i were a boy" yesterday. i'm totally addicted! i love the music video as well :D it's kinda sad..

- november 4! PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS! never been this excited for elections before. really. who're you for? barack obama all the wayyy :D i watched this video today of david letterman and john mccain. it was hilarious. john mccain ditched david letterman's interview so he could be interviewed by CBS News and david letterman was really pi**ed becausee john mccain told him couldn't go to his interview because he was "suspending his campaign in order to solve economic problems". and david letterman being all david letterman really reacted to that. the stuff he said was hilarious but it did make sense though. - gossip girl should hurry up and release its other episodes.


- i finally have microsoft office! hahaha, thanks vina for the help xD oh and thanks to to krit's dad for installing it and everything. hahaha


- you know what? when i was younger, i used to enjoy writing fictional stories about everything and anything. from school stuff to friends to horses to boys. sweet valley high stuff. HAHAHA. xD i always had a bunch of unfinished stories because i never exactly knew how to end them.. la lang, haven't written a story for fun in years (literally) and now that i have microsoft office.. hahaha, i feel like writing stories again. :) who knows, maybe i'll actually finish one this time.


- ooh, my initial plan for sembreak was to relax and do a lot of reading. yeah, i borrowed a lot of books (thanks jm and deyah! haha) and i've barely started but the other dayy.. we were talking about that FSO exam. it's a hard hard HARD test and it's years away but my future all depends on that one alkdjf;ad exam. no, of course i can still become successful even if i don't pass that exam but it'll be easier to achieve what i want to achieve if i get to pass that one exam. so! like what john did that one boring summer i might actually try and memorize the capitals of the world.. you guys don't understand how many times i missed a question in my IS211 exams last sem because i didn't know the capital!! hahaha


- hmm.. there's also this other part on the FSO exam where you have to translate everything into another language. (yes, i know this is still about the FSO exam when this is supposed to be a different thought but lemme finish) so you know what my goal is? to learn french, german, spanish and maybe italian and be fluent in all of them (maybe that's too ambitious?) before i reach 30!! but yeah. its worth a try :D

Camp Sabros

i started off the sembreak by going off to camp sabros (with maureen, jm, edz, irene, eula, jehn and lanie!). it was incredible! :D so because i feel like writing alot i'm going to enumerate everything. haha

so camp sabros:

- slept really late (1am) because of the movie marathon (have you ever tried white cheddar microwave popcorn? i never did until then! it's soooo good. :D)

- meeting place was at my house so by 6:30am everyone was here (yes, we were that excited).

- jm cooked the adobo. oh yeah, we cooked (well, "we" meaning edz and jm actually.. but we did help! haha) all our meals! so we brought everything we thought we might need. chopping board, knives, spoon and forks (or chokorla.. hahaha, edz way of saying it if i got that right), plates, cups, pork, chicken, seasonings, toyo and vinegar.. yep, you name it. haha, we had no idea what to expect so we came prepared.

- road trip! i kind of slept through most of it though because i slept late.. but when we arrived at digos i was wide awake! :)

- digos city: we stopped at the market (no not the supermarket, the market market where you get all the fresh fish and everything) and bought rice, fish, coal and a bunch of other stuff.

- katapagan (kapatagan?? kapatagan i think): yeah, so we finally started going up real high and it started getting real cold. we accidentally went past the entrance so we had to backtrack.. but we found it eventually :D

- the van couldn't go up the small, steep dirt road going to camp sabros so we had to walk the rest of the way. it was tiring! well, irene road the motorcycle going up and mau and jm rode the donkey! i mean the horse.. hahaha, and the rest of us had to walk up. thank god it was cold though or we would've been sweating like crazy when we finally arrived.

- we finally got to camp sabros! it was so nice. secluded and quiet and on top of the world. haha, and the owner of the place was soo nice and friendly. omgosh, you know what? it got so cold to the point that mist started coming out of our mouths when we talked! edz and i were going crazy with the whole mist thing. HAHAHA

- ZIPLINING! i have to do that again. we went on the 380m zipline twice and on the 400m zipline once. i liked the 400m zipline the best. you go soooo fast :D and the forest is there laid out below you and it feels like your flying. haha it was awesome :)

- played basketball! haha, with the uneven ground it was still loadsa fun. :D jm and i against lanie and jehn. jehn's fakes were hilarious! i think we looked a bit drunk though cuz we couldn't stop laughing the whole way through. we won then i had a one-on-one with jm but i lost.. hahaha, rematch!

- at night we had a bonfire. we brought the marshmallows and everything. :D i was so excited that when i went to get the marshmallows on the table i tripped and fell down. i was literally sprawled on the floor. see how hyperness it not good for me. gosh. a few people helped me up, i couldnt tell though cuz i was laughing so hard. i don't think an adventure is complete without me falling flat on my face or ripping my pants into two. **goes red with embarrassment** hahaha

- mau and i drank milk while sitting next to the bonfire while the rest watched "Iisa pa lamang" haha, i think that was it anyway. it was so comfy sitting next to the bonfire with a glass of milk in ur hand and the cold air being warded off by the flames. i couldnt roast marshmallows though.. it was too hot. haha

- kuya sabros gave us free pizza! and it was sooo good. with all its melted cheesey goodness. THEN we gathered around a table near the bonfire and had drinks and marshmallows (edz went crazy with the whole roasted marshmallows thing. well, she didnt roast it at the bonfire cuz it was too hot so she went to the oven thing in the kitchen and roasted it there. hahaha, she couldnt get enough of the stuff:D) and we talked of topics literally from A to Z. well, i think we finished somewhere around "M".. hahah, lanie, irene, mau, jm and i were the only people who stayed up. the rest of the people were too sleepy. having heart-to-heart talks can get pretty interesting. hahaha :)

- oh yeah!! i learned how to tie a cherry stem with my mouth! hahaha, cuz we had a whole jar of cherries and i kept on trying until i finally did it:D they say your a good kisser if you can do that but what the heck, how would i know.. hahaha

- next day we were supposed to have free ziplining cuz kuya said he'd let us go ziplining for free but there wasn't any time. :( so we took a bunch of pictures and walked down that steep dirty small road to the van (it was soo much easier walking down that road than going up)

- on the way back we bought fruit! then went back to my house where we watched semi-pro and ate marang.. then they all went home :)

gosh, i wish we could do that all over again. after they left i fell asleep at 4pm and woke up at 8:30, ate dinner then went back to sleep and woke up at 9:30. haha, and now it's lunch time but i still want to go back to sleep.

you know what? still doesn't feel like sembreak.. can you believe i still have to write a reflection paper for phil con then next week its our pre-evaluation for all I.S. students?? grawr. i have no idea if i can rest. I still have to avail for a driver's license and talk to tita dedeng about krit's debut. whaddaheck.

oh well, its sembreak people!! off to read eleven minutes :D

it's official :]

Now that we've finally finished the extempo, speech choir, OST performance and intermission number (despite our forgetting the steps and looking pretty much like idiots on stage it was F.U.N. :D) it is now OFFICIALLY the start of sembreak! woohooo!

you know, it's really rewarding to have all your sweat and hard work actually pay off in the end. for the past couple of days my classmates have been at my house working our butts off for that english culimination night with the nursing section. It was noisy, hilarious, loud, fun but really really tiring. I'm just glad I can rest now. :)

why migel and hyperness DO NOT go well together

Yeah, so my classmates were at my house last friday practicing for our intermission number (oh my dayum, this is my jayum... partying till the ay-em! hahaha) and during one of our breaks i was feeling all hyper (wretched word) and wanted to do a cartwheel! because you know, cartwheels are fun. So there I was with mychel about to do a cartwheel. so i did a cartwheel. but then... BUT THEN! as i lifted my legs up in the air i heard a huge **RIPPPPPP** and when i came back down my pants were practically ripped into two. so there i was on the floor trying to act like my pants hadn't ripped but mychel was laughing so hard so i couldn't help laughing too. HAHAHAHA, yes, i laugh to hide the shame.xD but seriously, that was embarrassing. hahaha, i don't know why i have an irritatingly consistent tendency to humiliate myself. thank god though we were at my house, so i was able to change real fast. so from now on i'm going to resist giving into my hyper.. uhh.. "urges"? and CONTROL MYSELF (yes, caps to further emphasize my determination. haha) in order to prevent future stupidity and humiliation on my part. aackk like that's going to work.. hahahaha :D

hmmm.. yesterday I came home from the whole english thing and even though i was real tired I ended up staying up until 3:45am. grawr, nikki and her weird habits of being online at the oddest hours. the weird thing though was that i woke up at 8am and couldnt go back to sleep! a;lkdfja;ld, i still feel tired now but I already tried sleeping and I can't for some weird reason. where's the hot cocoa when you need it?

what is it with dreams?

what is it with dreams that can make them so diverse and so utterly confusing? There are nights where i dream of things that have happened to me. yes, i understand these, a simple recall of the events that have happened to me that day probably because they were still on my mind as I fell asleep. There are others that are so weird, like dragging a donkey out of a mall with only a towel wrapped aorund myself, that when i wake up all i can do is shrug and go on with my day; dreams where a bunch of unrelated things are put together in a very interesting scene that makes no sense. There are dreams though that bring into startling clarity problems that have been festering at the back of my mind; problems i hadn't known existed until then. It's kind of scary. Have you ever had those dreams that seem so jam-packed with action and emotions such as fear and anticipation that when you wake up your limbs feel weak and you still feel tired? Ok, so maybe you haven't. I have though on more than one occasion. I wonder why it's like that though.

Other dreams are helpful in a way. There was this one time I had to do the opening remarks for this presentation we had and I wasn't quite sure what to say infront of everyone. That night, I had a vivid dream of me practicing infront of my classmates and teacher (the weird part was that we were in a jeepney heading to some place.. probably barangay talomo since that was where we had our presentation) and even though i woke up LATE (yeah, i tend to do that :D) I already had the speech mapped and formed in my head and i felt... ready. Weird huh?

so yeah, another entry about dreams. I woke up today with the pillow all damp and the taste of my own tears on my lips. it was definitely unsettling so I decided to write. haha :] grawr, i hate it when that happens. the dream was really long too like a movie, but i won't get into that because this post is already too long and i have to get ready for practice! :)

i guess the whole concept of how dreams work will forever elude me.

1st sem. finally o.v.e.r.! but im still kind of afraid of what the results will be.. but what the heck its sembreak so lets partehhhy! :D haha

darn it still have to go to school.

slep 13 hours today :D 7pm to 8am. gosh, i was that tired.

i lost my voice. haha, i think its all the stress. its coming back though :D
